It’s 2019 and we’re starting this year’s entry looking back at January. We don’t know about you but January seemed to last an eternity. Let’s take a look back:

  • #Snow took over January, especially towards the end of the month. Although it doesn’t take much for Britain to come to a stand still but the #Snow caused travel chaos across the country. Did you have much snow where you are? We’d love to see your snow pictures.
  • Sadly we heard of the disappearance of small plane over the English Channel to which was carrying Emiliano Sala. The footballer was heading to Cardiff to join up with his new club. The search is still on going but with the days and weeks passing it doesn’t look as though we will hear any good news. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of everyone on board.
  • In the football world January consists of the #TransferWindow. Although not a lot of big moves happened there was a lot of deals being made. A highlight has to be Chelsea signing Higuain, which saw Morata leaving for Athletico Madrid. Did your club make any signings this window?
  • There was some trouble for #Apple in January as it was discovered that users could access other users microphone via FaceTime without their permission. This meant that users could essentially listen in to others without them knowing. I’m sure Apple will resolve the issue quickly and roll an update out to solve it but as of the end of January I don’t believe there has been one yet.

We’ve purposely stayed away from any Brexit talks but I’m sure it’s all going to ramp up over the next few weeks as the end of March approaches.
